Depositions, notes, maps, copies of resolutions and acts of Congress, letters, and other papers related to cases whose titles are not known. The pre-federal documents in the series are all dated 1788 and consist of copies of correspondence concerning the survey and location of bounty land in the Northwest Territory for Virginia Continental and State troops, and cession of part of that territory to the United States by Virginia.
